This year, Family First Children’s Foundation hosted our first Accessible Holiday Photo Event right here at our clinic. For many of the children we serve, traditional photo sessions can be overwhelming or inaccessible. Hosting the event in a familiar environment allowed for extra time, adaptive seating, and support with positioning so every child could participate in a way that worked best for them.
The event was a meaningful evening for families and volunteers alike, and a powerful reminder of why accessibility and inclusion matter. As our first year hosting this event, we started small, but after seeing the impact it had on families, we are excited to grow it and offer it to even more children next year.
