Family First Children’s Foundation Scholarship
The Family First Children’s Foundation provides scholarships to help children access therapy services, equipment, and resources that support their growth and independence.
Eligibility Requirements:
Eligible Uses of Funding:
Scholarships may be used for:
- Intensive therapy programs
- Therapy services not covered by insurance
- Medical or adaptive equipment that improves function or independence
- Positioning, mobility, or safety equipment
- Communication devices or communication apps for personal devices
***Family First Children’s Foundation reserves the right to determine eligibility of all funding requests.
Review & Selection Process:
- Applications are reviewed quarterly.
- Deadlines to apply: January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1
- All completed applications are reviewed by the Family First Children’s Foundation Board
- Applications are evaluated using a standardized scoring system that considers multiple factors, helping ensure funding decisions are fair, thoughtful, and consistent across applicants.
- Final funding decisions are made at the discretion of the Foundation Board and are dependent on available funding.
Funding Limits:
- Maximum award: $3,000 per child per calendar year
- Funding may be awarded as full or partial scholarships.
Re-Application Policy:
- Applicants may submit no more than two applications for the same request
- A new application is required for different funding requests
- If not selected, updated information may be requested for reconsideration
Additional Policies
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed
- Submission of an application does not guarantee funding
- Funding is dependent on available foundation resources
- Approved funds are paid directly to the provider or vendor
- Previous recipients may apply again but recent funding may affect priority
- Emergency requests may be prioritized at the Board’s discretion
Privacy & Use of Funds:
- All personal, medical, and/or financial information is kept confidential.
- Funds must be used only for the approved purpose. Misuse may result in loss of future eligibility.
- Scholarships are non-transferable and cannot be reassigned.
- Family First Children’s Foundation reserves the right to modify scholarship guidelines or requirements at any time.
