Children Supported

At Family First Children’s Foundation, every donation directly impacts the lives of children and their families. With your support, we’ve been able to provide therapy services, adaptive equipment, and resources that make everyday life more accessible and full of possibilities.

This section is dedicated to sharing stories of the children we’ve helped—because behind every donation is a child gaining independence, confidence, and new opportunities.

Meet Some of the Children Your Donations Support:

Jace

Jace

Jace has cerebral palsy and has worked hard to achieve independent sitting on the floor, but was not quite ready to sit at a table. Having outgrown traditional baby seating options, he needed a chair that could properly support his posture while allowing him to continue developing strength and independence.

Through the generosity of our donors at our 2025 Silent Auction, a specialized Testa Seat was purchased for Jace, giving him the support he needs to participate more fully in daily activities, build functional sitting skills, and continue moving forward in his journey.

Vinny

Vinny

Vinny has cerebral palsy and is still learning to sit independently. He needed more support than standard baby floor seats could provide, along with positioning to help stretch his tight legs safely.

Through the generosity of our donors at our 2025 Silent Auction, a specialized Testa Seat was purchased for Vinny. Giving him a safe place to sit on the floor, stretch, and participate in everyday moments while continuing to build strength and independence.

Jace has CRELD1

Jace

Jace has CRELD1, an extremely rare genetic condition that causes intractable epilepsy. Due to weakness and dystonic movements, he is unable to sit independently and requires support.

Through the generosity of our donors at our 2025 Silent Auction, a specialized Testa Seat was purchased for Jace. This supportive and portable seating option has been life-changing for his family allowing his parents to safely sit him on the floor to play with his toys and bring him along to restaurants and community outings. As he continues to grow, this portable support will remain essential for his safety, comfort, and participation in everyday life.

Alistar

Alistair , 2 years old

Diagnosed with SMA Type 1, Alistar bravely received gene therapy, making him an ideal candidate for our two-week intensive strength-building program. Research shows that the first two to three years after gene therapy are the most critical for building strength and motor skills, which made this an important time to focus on therapy.

During his intensive, Alistar worked hard to build muscle strength, coordination, and confidence. Each session was designed to help him make the most of this crucial period of growth. We are so proud of his determination and honored to support him on his journey toward greater independence.

Jonah, 4 years old

Jonah, 4 years old

Jonah is full of life and always gives his best in therapy. He’s been making amazing progress in his weekly sessions and was especially excited for his upcoming intensive to work toward independent walking.

Unfortunately, just a week before, his family learned he wouldn’t be receiving the funding they expected and had to cancel. That’s when Family First Children’s Foundation stepped in covering the expenses.
